This Square D 9007TUB4 limit switch with universal contacts is used to make and break an electrical connection in severe-duty mill casting applications. It has a cast zinc body and cover for durability and dissipating heat. It has a base plate with end mounting holes. The base plate is made of steel for strength, with a zinc plating for resistance to corrosion. The operating sequence for this universal style switch is spring-return SPDT with a neutral position, clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) action, and it has a horizontal approach. It has a tapped entry for a 1/2"-14 National Pipe Taper (NPT) cable gland. The switch has an operating temperature range from -12.2 to +85 degrees C and meets the Ingress Protection (IP) 67 standard for protection against dust and immersion. It meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Types 2, 4, and 13 requirements for an oil-tight, dust-tight, water-tight, and drip-tight enclosure, and it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. This limit switch is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed, Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certified, European Conformity (CE) marked, and it conforms to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. It is suitable for use in applications where the current load exceeds a contact rating of 10 amp, when an operating sequence is required that is not possible with other limit switches, or when higher reset forces are required.
